The workspace includes academic search...
Write the research question in one sentence, then choose quick lookup or deep checking. Quick mode fits a known title or dataset. Deep mode filters papers by constraints you add, such as method, year, or a collection. After opening a paper, ask the reader to summarize it, or use an at-mention to keep the answer on that paper. If the library is empty, Q&A tells you to upload or add papers from search first. Reviews, reproduction, and citation checks go to an agent, which keeps running until you stop it. It fits researchers who want search and reviews grounded in real papers.
Qiewen is listed as a product of the Fudan University NLP Lab, and the interface copyright names ATOM INFINITE PTE. LTD. The workspace includes academic search, a library, research Q&A, projects, and agents, plus a Fudan collection search. Search has a quick mode for keyword titles or broad lookup and a deep mode that checks intent against constraints. The paper reader can summarize key points, explain terms, and answer questions about that paper. A knowledge library accepts PDF uploads, highlights, and notes, then answers from papers in the library. Agents can run inspiration discovery, literature reviews, paper reproduction, citation checks, and scientific figures. A daily free trial allowance is provided.
Difficulty: Intermediate
Quick and deep search
Quick search matches keywords for titles or broad lookup. Deep search checks intent against constraints and then filters related papers.
Read a paper and ask about it
The reader can summarize key points, explain terms, and take questions about the current paper. Q&A can also pin one paper as the source.
Answers from your library
You can upload PDFs and add highlights and notes. Library answers use papers in the library, and an empty library asks you to add papers first.
Reviews, reproduction, and citation checks
Agents can run inspiration discovery, automatic literature reviews, a paper-reproduction flow, and sentence-level citation checks with source evidence.
Projects and the Fudan collection
Projects organize papers, research, and experiments. When enabled, the interface offers a Fudan collection search for holdings.
Find method papers with constraints
A graduate student uses deep search to find papers that meet dataset, task, and method constraints instead of stacking keywords.
Take notes on one paper
A reader opens a PDF, highlights passages, and asks the reader to explain terms and summarize that paper.
Check citations sentence by sentence
A writer sends a drafted passage to citation check and reviews whether each cited claim has source evidence.
The interface describes quick search as keyword matching, for a specific title or a broad lookup. Deep search is described as multi-dimensional checking, including intent verification for items that meet specific conditions. You can switch modes only after the current search ends. The daily free trial allowance refreshes, and after it is used you upgrade or wait for the next allowance. The remaining count is shown after you sign in.
Do not expect an answer from an empty library. The page says an empty library cannot answer, so upload a PDF in the library or add papers from search results first. Papers already in the library can be highlighted, noted, and used as the basis for answers. If nothing relevant is there, it asks you to rephrase or add more papers rather than answering apart from the library.
