▶Does selecting a Skill generate immediately?

No. After you select a Skill, the service checks access and attaches that Skill's name and instructions to the submission. It supplies a method, not a finished file, and it does not submit a generation by itself. You still provide the goal, assets, and constraints, then run generation separately. The same Skill also does not guarantee an identical result every time.

▶How do points relate to the subscription?

After sign-in you can claim points with a daily check-in, and finished canvas tasks can add more. Generation spends points, and ongoing use has subscription plans. Invite rewards are separate: a bind made while unsubscribed pays neither side, and later invites pay only after you subscribe. Check-in points and subscription status are not the same thing. An enterprise-center account also cannot invite with a personal code.

▶How can an external client edit the canvas?

Paper MCP exposes selected creative tools to a compatible client after you authorize the VibePaper account. A standalone file is generated and then checked in history. Editing work already on a canvas requires connecting to that canvas id, reading its state, and then submitting the change. A generation does not appear on a canvas just because the browser tab is open. A Skill is the method; the connection is the tool call.
