UCloud's aggregated model platform
Finished client code should not have to be rewritten just to change models. AstraFlow asks you to change the base address, the key, and the model id, and chat, images, and video all leave through the same key. A local workstation can point common coding agents at it, and the console is where you create the key. The security notes say request content is not stored and is not used for training; finance and government customers can use a private deployment or an in-network call. It fits developers and companies that want many models inside an existing app without keeping several vendor accounts. Usage is metered, so registration is not unlimited calling. Confirm quota and whether settlement is daily or monthly before production, and talk to sales for an enterprise term plan.
AstraFlow is UCloud's aggregated model platform. One API key calls models for chat, images, and video. The API follows the common programming interface, so existing code changes the base address and key instead of being rewritten. Popular models are added on an hourly cadence after vendors release them. UCloud says it does not train on user requests, traffic is encrypted, and the enterprise edition can be deployed privately or called inside a private network. Billing is by actual usage, with term plans available for enterprise customers.
Difficulty: Intermediate
One key, many model types
One key calls chat, image generation, and video generation models, so you do not open a separate vendor account for each modality.
Keep existing client code
Point the base address at the platform, then set the key and model id. The API matches the common programming interface and common frameworks.
Use it inside coding agents
The AstraFlow client is for people who want models inside a local workstation, including common coding agents pointed at this key.
Requests are not used for training
The platform says traffic is encrypted, request content is not stored, and it is not used to train models. Enterprise plans add private deployment and in-network calls.
Repointing an existing app
Replace the old base address and key with AstraFlow and switch model ids without rewriting the client.
One exit for coding agents
Put the AstraFlow key into local coding tools so assistants and command-line clients share one exit.
Calling from a private network
Finance or government teams evaluate private deployment and in-network calls so requests do not use the default public path.
It is UCloud's aggregated model platform: one key for chat, image, and video models. You create the address and key in the model console and call them with the common programming interface. It is not a private protocol you must rewrite against, but the model id, quota, and whether traffic stays on a private network still have to be confirmed in the console or with sales.
The quick start says to replace the base address and key, then set a model id, without rewriting the whole application. Common frameworks use the same settings. Coding agents can connect through the AstraFlow client. After the change, send one real request with your own key and confirm the model id and billing, rather than trusting the sample string in the docs.
The platform says it does not store request content, does not use it for training, encrypts traffic, and uses the key only for authentication on the caller side. If machines and the network must stay in your environment, you need the enterprise private deployment or in-network call. Encryption on the public API is not a substitute for that plan.
